Batman Braves Rocket League Once Again For A Haunted Halls Crossover

DC’s Dark Knight is coming back to Rocket League once again for a Haunted Halls crossover event this October.

Kicking off on today, the latest guest to race into Psyonix’s racer turned competitive phenomenon is the dark knight himself. The Rocket League x DC Haunted Halls event isn’t the first time that fans of the motorized racer and comic book icon have had, but this set of in game events will introduce a whole host of challenges and rewards for players to shoot for.

Anybody entering the arena between today and 1 November will find the usually green pastures taken over by Batman and his foes. Rumble will take something of a left turn and become the Gotham City Rumble. This recreation of Batman’s fictional home switches up the traditional Rumble gameplay with power-ups themed after Batman and his enemies. Use your power-ups and engage Joker’s Boxing Glove, Harley’s Hammer instead of the Boot, Poison Ivy’s vines instead of the Grappling Hook, and many more. Claim a dark victory in Gotham City Rumble while it’s available as an LTM all throughout Haunted Hallows.

That’s not the only change to gameplay this Halloween, with an all new Beckwith Park (Gotham Night), and new vehicles to try out. Of course, we can expect the Batmobile. All three versions of the Dark Knight’s high-tech vehicle, the Batmobile (1989), The Dark Knight’s Tumbler, and the Batmobile (2016), are racing back to the Item Shop today. In addition to the aforementioned vehicles, players can grab three Bat-Signal Goal Explosions that show off the Bat-Symbol from three different eras too. All of these rides and signals come bundled in the new Batman Halloween Bundle for 2000 Credits, but that’s not everything on offer. The best way to take a look at what’s coming to this new haunted Halls event is to take a peek at the trailer above, showing off the Joker Dominus Decal and Boost, Gotham’s Finest Merc Decal, Harley Quinn Wheels and Topper, Poison Ivy Boost. If you’re a fan of comic book costumes and already play Rocket league then head over to the official website now to check out the full event noes and log in today to grab your free Dark Knight Player Title.
