EA and DICE have announced that holiday shenanigans have kicked off in Battlefield 2042 that bring some fun times for players with a couple of fun game modes. In addition, fence-sitters will have a chance to check out the game thanks to a free-to-play event running from now through Monday, December 20th.
According to @Battlefield Bulletin, players can take part in the following events:
- 1942 vs 2042 Conquest featuring 64-players on both 1942 and 2042 maps
- Attack of the Elves featuring 32-player infection mode as well as Team Santa vs Team Elves taking place on 1942, BC2, BF3, and 2042 maps. The event will run through January 6, 2022
