Real Time Strategy sequel Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 has begun Pre-Orders. Officially launching on January 24th, It will bring all the chaos and destruction of Warhammer 40,000 fleet battles to PC. BGA2 features 12 factions, 5 are available to play across 3 campaigns. The remaining are available in multiplayer and skirmish modes. Building your fleet is key as your choices of what you bring to the field will determine everything. Some ships have great firepower but are slow where others may be fast built for recon but lack in firepower, Build wisely.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 features a new setting called “The Gathering Storm”. Abaddon the despoiler’s 13th Black Crusade has succeeded. The Galaxy has literally split into two, allegiances and conflicts continue to grow as the storm rages on. Three campaigns allow players to experience the stories of the galaxies major factions as they navigate the aegis ocularis.
Today also marks the beginning of the second pre-order beta, running up until launch. This will be your first chance to go hands-on with the campaigns as the first sectors of the Imperial and Necron storylines will be available to play. This second beta also features all the multiplayer and skirmish options, including the 12 playable factions, the 80+ sub-factions, ranked play, custom map options with special environmental effects from the first beta, updated with brand new balance adjustments and bug fixes.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Campaign Pre-order Beta begins today, featuring the start of the Imperial and Necron campaigns. Pre-order before January 24 to get access to the beta. Pre-orders receive a 10% discount ahead of launch, 25% if they own the original Battlefleet Gothic: Armada. The game launches on January 24 on PC.
