Is robotic combat your forte? Harebrained Schemes the makers of the beloved Shadowrun games has released a video on the basics of Battletech, an upcoming game set to release on Steam in April. Battletech dares to mix the play styles of heavy mechs with the tactical gameplay of a turn-based title.
The video shows hefty, building size mechs blasting away at each other but it also goes into the tactical styled gameplay, upgrading your battlemechs, upgrading your spaceship, and many different story options that will affect your gameplay from moment to moment. You, as a mercenary commander, will take contracts, deal with your base of operations and make decisions that can turn the tides of the overarching civil war.
