Probably to the surprise of no one, Bethesda has announced that both Starfield and Redfall are being delayed to the first half of 2023. Starfield was originally slated to be released in fall 2022 so the delay gives developers up to eight months to get the game prepared for release.
The announcement was made on Twitter that Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) would be delaying both games for the time being. As expected, the reason for the games’ delay is cited as the need for the “best, most polished versions” of the games to come out.
