Biomutant, the furry fighter of an RPG from THQ Nordic, has finally got a release date and it will be here 25 May 2021.

Due to hop onto PC PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this interesting new adventure from the Darksiders publisher has been keeping a low profile of late. There was plenty of interest in the animal RPG when it first appeared in a teaser trailer back in 2017. Since then we’ve had a few teasers, some footage, and not a ton else. Now, we know when Biomutant will launch, and what forms it will take.

As well as the standard editions of the game, Biomutant will drop a couple of collector’s boxes. We’ve listed the details below, but they don’t come cheap. The Atomic Edition of the game comes in at $399.99 or local equivalent, while the Collector’s Edition will take a whole $109.99 of your local currency.

Outside of the cool aesthetic, this open world RPG will plunge you into a new world where the end is nigh. As a plague ravages the lang you’ll need to explore the land and unite the tribes. As you expand your horizons you’ll learn a new form of combat, constantly mixing different forms of combat with your own mutations to overcome whatever stands in your way, even if the local pigeons are as likely to mug you for your wallet as your lunch.
