Bioware’s Casey Hudson has published a September Update blog post to let fans know how the studio keeps on going after a super busy summer.
The team continues to constantly improve and expand players’ experience in looter-shooter Anthem. The Cataclysm events have been ramped up but there is still a lot of work to do to bring out the full potential of the game.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is preparing Onslaught that is scheduled to come this fall, an adventure spanning several new areas including two new planets, a return to Corellia, plus a new and updated itemization system.
If you are here for a more traditional Bioware news, related to Thedas, elves and mages, Casey Hudson has a message for you:
“We have several other big projects in the works. I wish I could tell you more about them, but they’re mostly super-secret right now. I can say however that one of our projects has a large and growing team in Edmonton working through pre-production, and based on the progress I’m seeing, I can confirm that indeed the Dread Wolf rises.”
With Dread Wolf Rises still in pre-production, according to the message above, it is still a few years before we can return to the world of Thedas. However, the best things are worth waiting for, and an opportunity to see what Solas is up to with his Elven Glory is worth the wait, right?
There is currently absolutely no news related to the Mass Effect franchise. Stay strong, SPECTREs & Pathfinders, we’ll get there, too.
