Black Desert players across PC and console can say take on a brand new adventure with the launch of Drakania Awakening today.
Landing on PC, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 today, the stunning Drakania Awakening update marks a major change to the way fans of this high fidelity MMORPG will experience this title.
Drakania
The latest update includes a ton of new toys for players to pick up and smash skulls with. The Drakania unfurls her wings and swoops in to cause some serious carnage today. Unshackled from the oppression of a tyrannical dragon Labreska, the Drakania is fueled by a powerful need for vengeance and wields some incredible weaponry. Diving into action with an exclusive new awakening weapon, Drakania uses a Trion, a combination of two spears, one empowered with raging winds, the other empowered with a raging fire. Drakania wields both in tandem, unleashing relentless stabs, slices and strikes.
Like any Black Desert class, you’ll need to Awaken this new character. Players will need to pick up a quest that fully uncovers the power of Drakania. Once Awakened, Drakania has the unique ability toc remain in her Awakening stance without the need to switch between Awakening and Pre-Awakening, making full use of the Hexblood and Dragonblood forms and their combat modifiers.
Drakania Skills
- Aerial Burst
Unleash the might of Dragons upon enemies nearby. Then drive your trion into their hearts. - Doombringer
Channel the winds into your trion’s left spear, ascend, then come crashing down to the ground. - Tectonic Slam (Hexeblood)
Combine both spears to channel the winds then charge toward the enemy. - Tectonic Slam (Dragonblood)
Combine both spears, then unleash the winds forward to push back the enemy. - Sundering Roar (Hexeblood)
Channel the winds into your trion’s left spear, then unleash them forward. Set your right spear aflame, then leave a burning claw mark on the ground. - Sundering Roar (Dragonblood)
Channel the winds into your trion’s left spear, then call upon the might of Dragons to unleash an earthshattering roar forward. Your destructive Dragon breath decimates all enemies ahead.
This incredible melee focused class leans heavily into Black Desert’s lore and comes with an accompanying class introduction trailer and tale here. Also, did we mention the epic dragon wings? Alongside this new anti-hero, Black Desert players can expect a new season: Dawn of Dragons. Of course, this includes the Awakening quests for the aforementioned class, but will introduce a faster level-up and gear support to PC players on the North America, Europe and South America servers.
