Black Desert Online Begins Early Access on PS4 Tomorrow

After successfully battling through a gorgeous open beta at the beginning of August, Black Desert Inline is about to go into early access on PlayStation 4 tomorrow.

On 20 August, this gorgeous MMORPG steps into early access on Playstation 4 in preparation for a full assault on the platform come 22 August, a mere two days later. The massively multiplayer Korean RPG isn’t entirely new to Playstation owners either, with an open beta that launched back at the start of August. Throughout that beta phase, players got a glimpse of Black Desert Online’s superb graphics and a free form combat system that make it stand out on the PC platform. The game features a massive sandbox environment, open-world PvE experiences, PvP, massive siege encounters, and an economic system that opens up opportunities for anybody willing to harvest the right materials. Originally published on PC back in 2015, it is already a global presence and has expanded onto iOS, Android, and Xbox one as late as this year. I was impressed by the game’s port to Xbox One when I got some time with it last year and this should provide some invaluable experience for the port over to Playstation 4.

Now, keen adventurers can get a head start on their comrades. Players who pre-order Black Desert Online’s Ultimate or Deluxe edition for Playstation 4 will be able to jump into the world of Pearl Abyss a full two days ahead of time during early access. Anybody who does pick up this pre-order pack will get a bunch of other extra’s as well. The Pre Order Editions Stack up as follows:
