From today through August 13th, PlayStation 4 owners can check out Black Desert during its open beta. Black Desert is an ambitious, open-world MMORPG from Pearl Abyss.
Any PS4 owner can take part in the open beta. There is no requirement for PS Plus in order to play. Those who play during open beta will also earn “an exclusive Sky Hawk pet” that loots items, grants a Knowledge Gain Chance increase, and helps find rare monsters. The pet will be granted when the game launches as a free-to-play title on August 22nd.

- three expansive regions
- fierce enemies
- an immersive story
- six character classes including the Warrior, Sorceress, Ranger, Berserker, Wizard, and Witch
- “endless” customization options
- level up to 50
