Blast Brigade Explodes Into Early Access Today

Blast Brigade explodes into early access today, with super spies, evil geniuses, secret lairs, and a colorful 2D adventure.

Ready to save the world from the clutches of the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread, Blast Bridge is out now via Steam Early Access. After releasing a free demo two weeks ago and an initial announcement in May this year, players can now experience a huge chunk of the final version, and this new caper from My.Games and Allods Team Arcade looks to be a delightfully upbeat super sleuth adventure full of comic hijinks and indiscriminate explosions.

Clearly inspired by 80’s action comedy adventures, this new title heads to the desktop, and a secret island lair, to follow a team of four superspies as they blast through a diverse range of bosses and henchmen to thwart the plans of Dr. Cread. While this master of malevolence has plenty of killer robots, giant monsters, and traps to trip your up, you’ll have a range of highly skilled heroes. Each member of your team comes with their own unique skills. Switching between these do gooders on the fly means grenade launchers, grappling hooks, сhakram-teleporters and more will be at your disposal.

The early look at this talented team and their escapades will give players two complete acts of the game’s explosive story available and will feature three playable characters: the trigger-happy hero Jeff J. Jefferson, the icily competent ex-KGB agent Shura and the very Galant Galahad. One more character will join during future Early Access updates and both the narrative and available environments will be further expanded. It will also include seven challenging bosses and thirty different enemies to use their arsenal of six different weapons on. Players will initially explore six different biomes, so there’s plenty to get started with.

Blast Brigade is releasing in Steam Early Access today with a discount, and free future DLC as part of the deal, and is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S early next year. Check out the trailer above and head over to the Steam Store page for more information on your mission.
