Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed a couple of in-game goodies available to World of Warcraft players through the Twitch Drop & Support a Streamer programs. Players are able to receive an old TCG mount Ghastly Charger (that can also fly!) and the new Watcher of the Huntress pet. Read on to see how to receive and claim both items.
World of Warcraft: The War Within – New Twitch Drop Ghastly Charger Mount
With the release of the World of Warcraft: The War Within, players will venture into the unexplored depths of Azeroth and help defend the world from the shadows below. Watch any WoW stream on Twitch.tv from August 26 until September 19 for 4 hours total to claim this ghostly beauty of a horse.
Note that your Twitch and Battle.net accounts must be linked for you to be eligible for the drop. If you have changed your password or made any changes to your Twitch or Battle.net account, you will have to relink your account.
You can earn and claim drops using your PC/Mac web browser or on the app for Android or iOS. Note that apps on game consoles, smart TVs, and other TV apps do not support drops. To receive your reward, you must claim the drop on the channel you’re watching or in the Drops Inventory menu on Twitch.
World of Warcraft: The War Within – Support a Streamer Reward Watcher of the Huntress pet
World of Warcraft is partnering with Twitch to host Support a Streamer during the launch of World of Warcraft: The War Within. Viewers will be rewarded for gifting subscriptions to participating streamers between August 26 and September 26. Doing so will ensure that the Watcher of the Huntress pet to join you in your adventures in the depths of Azeroth.
How to participate:
- Log in to your Twitch account.
- Visit any Twitch channel streaming World of Warcraft.
- While the channel is live streaming World of Warcraft, purchase a cumulative of two (2) subscriptions of any tier to earn the reward.
