Indie adventure Blossom Tales is about to get a follow up, and now we know when fans of little adventurer Lily will get to meet a new tale head on.
Platonic, the team who have yet to bring us another Yooka Laylee, has confirmed that the sequel to 2017’s Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King is set to land on PC and Nintendo Switch during 16 August 2022. Blossom Tales: The Minotaur Prince is a brand new narrative, told by the series own Grandpa and delving into a story within a story. The return to this cute indie series unfolds as the title pushes Lily and friends through haunted forests, mysterious lands, and charming towns while they try to defeat the ominous Minotaur King and save Lily’s brother.
Along the way, you can expect tot take on a central story arc, where Grandpa will even narrate exciting moments throughout Lily’s incredible adventure. Dozens of mini dungeons and side quests litter the caves and undergrowth of this land, while Lily will be able to utilize a huge variety of weapons and tools to overcome the minions of this evil doer. Around 15 hours of gameplay can be expected form this pixel art piece, where Lily, Knight of the Rose sets out on an ever more personal quest than before.
