Boomerang Fu – Hong Kong Cinema & Aggressive Food

Cranky Watermelon has announced that Boomerang Fu, a game that mixes Hong Kong cinema with “cute, aggressive food”, is now available for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The Steam PC version includes a 10% discount for the first week bringing its price to $13.49 ($14.99 regularly).

The game sends players off on a mad dash to take out other food items in a frenzy of couch multiplayer chaos. Up to 6 players can take part in the madness as each ranges around to find a “ridiculous range of power-ups like explosive boomerangs, disguises, and telekinesis”. These power-ups can be stacked to bring even more insanity to the battlefield.

Other features include:

  • Simple Controls – 1 stick and 3 buttons is all it takes to make guacamole out of enemies
  • 30 arenas – each has its own unique tools and traps such as moving platforms, lush foliage, etc.
  • competitive and cooperative play
  • the ability to change the rules at will
  • controller support
