Breathedge, the space faring survival sim from Hypetrain Digital and RedRuins Softworks, is set to ditch the safety line and blast off for a full launch on 25 February.
Initially breaking out into Early Access back in 2019, Breathedge is a space race come survival sim that comes with a fair amount of flair. This humorous free fall survival adventure has been building up to launch all this time and now players can look forward to strapping in on PC, via Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin, and GOG storefronts. A ticket to the middle of nowhere will cost you $25.
For those of you that don’t give a cluck, then grab an immoral space chicken and prepare to be lost in space. Don’t worry Will, there’s a way out of this, however. Playing as the only survivor of a space based disaster, player in Breathedgge must battling the elements in order to find the way home. While you fend off some sort of conspiracy, out to keep you stranded, you’ll collect items, make tools, build vehicles to traverse this open case and get home in one piece. Alternatively, you can make your own space station filled with everything from oxygen and electricity, and a hamster farm? In addition, the newest version 1.0 of Breathedge will include a total of 3 new narrative chapters, 6 new languages, and over 20 hours of gameplay, so you should have plenty to do.
Coupled with a dark sense of humor and plenty of Early Access improvement, Breathedge looks like a very unique proposition for survival fans.
