NBA Jam 30th anniversary arcade cabinet

Arcade1Up has revealed a return to the best Basketball games that you’ll ever play, and they both come courtesy of two new NBA Jam Arcade Cabinets.

The NBA Jam 30th Anniversary Deluxe arcade cab and the NBA Jam Partycade just got a reveal over the weekend, and these retro throwbacks might be the best NBA game’s you will get to play at home. Developed by cabinet maker Arcade1Up and showcased at NBA Con over the last few days, the two new machines are timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the iconic NBA Jam. Each will set you back a fair stack of cash, with the NBA Jam 30th Anniversary Deluxe arcade machine is available for pre-order beginning today for $699.99. They are, however, a couple of games that took the console market by storm when they arrived in homes and in arcade parlours.

Back during it’s initial development and launch by Midway, these high-octane sports sims leaned into the arcade action and were some of the most notable uses of digitized, photo realistic likenesses. They brought the superstars of the NBA to life in an accessible way, and fitted the arcade emporium’s competitive scene perfectly.

Now those of us old enough to remember can relive that experience with the two options. The NBA Jam™ 30th Anniversary Deluxe arcade machine is a sleek, 5-foot-tall stand-up cabinet with a crisp 17-inch color screen, dual speakers for dynamic sound, and a four-player control panel. Authentic design features include a light-up marquee and 3D molded coin doors, along with upgraded joysticks and eye-catching light-up buttons that make every basket even more electrifying. The NBA Jam Partycade will come sot stores a little later this year and is more of a portable pop up that can fit into most spaces without demanding all your attention.

The top tier 30th anniversary machine combines three games- NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Jam Hang Time. You can find out mor and peruse the available options on the Arcade1Up website.
