WARNING: This trailer is not for the faint of heart. During today’s Paris Games Week pre-event, Sony revealed a brutal, graphic trailer from The Last of Us Part 2.

If you have a strong stomach, the nearly five-minute trailer provides a beautiful, if terrifying look at the upcoming game. You’ll see someone with arrows protruding from their face as well as someone being hanged. And blood…there is a lot…a lot of blood. While the cinematography is top notch, the content is tough to watch. Let’s just say that the events in TLoUP2 don’t look like a lot of fun.
During the game, you’ll be reunited with Joel and Ellie, though neither is present in today’s trailer. The story takes place about five years after the events of the first game. In this one, however, you’ll assume control of Ellie as well as centered on the theme of “hate”.
We still don’t have a release date for the game, though Naughty Dog is promising sometime in 2018.
