TAITO Corporation has announced that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron’s Workshop is blowing onto PC later this summer with a new take on the iconic arcade title, and its nothing like the recent VR experience. Instead, the newest instalment in the Bubble Bobble franchise looks set to invite players to team up with Bub and Bob once more, bring along some friends, and even building their very own challenges in Workshop Mode.

While players going it alone will have the opportunity to take on all the original and downloadable content from the previous PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch releases, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron’s Workshop will also let players gang up on stages. Extra attendees can wield newcomers Peb and Pab across 4 player couch co-op as they take on the arcade of the future. The foursome will blow and burst their way through 200 stages to defeat Bonner and Baron Von Blubba, using skill and plenty of entertaining gimmicks.

In addition to the colorful couch co-op, there’s also a classic arcade mode for long term fans of the series.
