Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger might be 6 years old but this veteran cowboy shooter I ready for one last adventure on the Nintendo Switch, this December.
Techland’s first-person shooter originally hit PC and console some years ago but the team behind this title has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch will be getting its own version of the western with a few extra twists. Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger had been rumored to be due for some time and now it rides into battle on 10 December. Originally an in house labor of love, the team at techland eventually turned this port into a fully-fledged commercial releasee. The Nintendo Switch title gets a whole host of new features including HD Rumble and motion control. I have my fingers crossed for some Joycon powered standoffs at high noon.
The First Shootout
For any of you that missed the first shootout, Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger is an homage to tales of the wild west. It takes players on an epic journey into the untamed trails of the early west. As a ruthless bounty hunter, players go after the worst criminals and bring them to justice. Blurring the line between myth and man, this title takes in some of the old west’s most epic landscapes while tracking down famous faces like Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett, and Jesse James.
With a range of encounters, customization options, and the prospect of getting your guns out again Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger is sure to be a journey we won’t miss. If you want to find out more about this iconic title then check out the official trailer above, head to the Techland website, or keep an eye out here for our thoughts on the game. If you are already getting on your horse, Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger will be available in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99.
