Wayfinder, the other MMORPG from Digital Extremes, just launched its first mid-season updated, Call of the Void.
Following an eventful Launch, developer Airship Syndicate has dropped an entirely free content update into Wayfinder. Available now across PlayStation and Steam for PC, Call of the Void is a significant update that looks set to add new challenges, quests, rewards, and a better life for anybody fighting the Gloom.
As with all free updates, the new additions include a bunch of bug fixes and quality of life changes. This is a lengthy list and includes everything from spawn times for Talon of Pyre to fixing Critical Force mastery. While you can check out everything on the official website, some of you might want to head straight into game to check out Wayfinder’s new content.
First Live Event
Starting last night, Wayfinders got their first live event. The inaugural limited time event is live and that means limited time rewards. Players popping in for Call of the Void will get the chance to play for the glowing orange and navy blue “Dawning Hope” skin for the Gloom Dagger. Two new side quests, “The Final Score” and “Harbingers of Chaos” expand the world of Wayfinder, and a huge Expedition, Gloom Dungeon, awaits. You’ll be prepared to take on any challenge with the addition of some new weapons. The Juggernaut mace arrive in game, which you might want to get equipped before taking on the Bloodbore boss battle.
While this animated MMO is nothing like Warframe, the overwhelming interest at Early Access launch made this one to watch. Mixing a stylized aesthetic with a uniquely flexible class system, and tons of quirky characters, Wayfinder continues to be on my play rotation during Early Access. If you want to know more, check out the trailer above or head over to the official website to grab one of the Founder’s Packs now.
