Badoptics Games and HeroCraft PC have announced that Catizens has officially clawed its way to Steam early access. The game combines elements of RimeWorld with The Sims and adds a dash of purr-fectly adorable feline citizens to provide an all-new take on simulation gaming. Players watch over a host of unique cats, each with their own quirky personalities, and help them build and grown their settlement. Early access pricing is $15.99 for the time being before returning to the normal $17.77 price.
During the initial Early Access release, you’ll have the opportunity to play through three levels of the story campaign and explore the sandbox mode. There are six cat-tastic professions to try, different houses to build and decorate, and so much more! Can you build the purr-fect settlement?
Developers have also posted a peek into coming updates that will bring new content into the game over the next several months.

- build a cat town around the personality traits of inhabitants
- attend to each cat’s personal needs and offer special treatment
- foster relationships among the cats
- customize unique cats and design the perfect home
- build and manage the settlement through professions such as farming, blacksmithing, hunting, and more
