EA has posted some amazing news for fans of Knockout City, its forthcoming team-based dodgeball game. During the event, everyone will be able to take part in the game’s launch celebration thanks to the Block Party Free Trial. For 10 days starting May 21st, players will have unfettered access to the game and will be able to experience a different special event each and every day.
This isn’t some level-capped, red-tape teaser with gated access, either. You’ll have the full game at your disposal—which is good, because you’ll want to try out all the new Contracts, Playlists, and content we’re releasing at launch without worrying about hitting an invisible barrier.
Players will be able to leverage a number of perks for partnering with friends including:
- Epic Crew Cosmetics
- 500 more Holobux
- Season 1 XP boosts
Players will also be able to check out four playlists including Team KO, Diamond Dash, Party Team KO, and Face-Off. As players go through the content, they’ll be able to explore maps, unlock new content, and working on getting their skills up to par.
Those who choose to purchase the game once the event ends will receive bonus content “that will stack with the rewards you’ve already unlocked”. This includes an Epic Outfit, an Epic Hairstyle, Epic Glasses, Epic Glider, Epic Intro Pose, Epic KO Effect, a trio of player icons, and 500 Holobux.
