The 16th anniversary celebration of World of Warcraft has kicked off! Log in between now and November 22 to earn the WoW’s 16th Anniversary achievement, then check your mail for a special Anniversary Gift Package containing some Timewarped badges, an item to increase experience and rep gains by 16% and an invitation to a party in Caverns of Time.
In addition, questgivers Historian Llore and Historian Ju’pa will have two daily quests that give players a chance to earn additional Timewarped Badges either by answering World of Warcraft trivia or by defeating some familiar foes such as Lord Kazzak, Azuregos and others. Collectors will also have a chance to pick up a few pieces of classic loot from defeating them.
If you have missed Korrak’s Revenge aka The Alterac Valley of Olde, you can return to the battlefield this year and earn two new mounts: the Stormpike Battle Ram (Alliance) and the Frostwolf Snarler (Horde).
New to WoW in 2020 is a Crafted Cloak of War, an item you can purchase from vendors for 200 Timewarped Badges.
The new expansion, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, will be coming to the game on November 23rd, right after the Anniversary event is over. Make use of the extra experience and level up some alts before Death claims Azeroth!
