World of Warcraft is turning 17! Between now and December 6th, log in to Shadowlands to receive the special achievement and check your in-game mail for a special Anniversary Gift Package that contains 200 Timewarped Badges, Invitation from the Timewalkers leading you to Chromie in the Caverns of Time, Celebration Firework and an item that increases the experience and reputation gains by 17%.
In addition, quest givers Historian Llore and Historian Ju’pa will have two daily quests that give players a chance to earn additional Timewarped Badges either by answering World of Warcraft trivia or by defeating some familiar foes. Collectors will also have a chance to pick up a few pieces of classic loot from defeating them.
Historian Ma’di also sells a variety of goodies including Bronze-Tinted Sunglasses, Crafted Cloak of War, Corgi Pup, Costume Sets, Inflatable Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, Overtuned Corgi Goggles and the newest addition – Timeless Mechanical Dragonling pet.
The Anniversary celebration also invites players to take on old World Bosses such as Doomwalker, Azuregos and Lord Kazzak as well as take part in Alterac Valley of Olde.
