During the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, Sony took the stage and revealed the new PlayStation 5 logo. To say that fans and viewers are unimpressed is to understate things greatly. Why? Here, take a look.
Looks familiar, doesn’t it? In fact, it’s pretty much the PlayStation 4 logo.
Familiarity is comforting, right? However, in the end, it doesn’t really matter what the logo looks like. What will matter is how the console performs, what games are available, how cutting edge it feels, etc.
During the event, Sony also revealed that the PlayStation 4 has sold 106M units during its lifetime. This is a significant increase compared to October 2019’s 101.63M units. The company also announced that PSVR has sold over 5M units.
