If it’s been awhile since you’ve played Pokemon Go, this week may be a great one to re-explore the game. Niantic has sent out a brand new trailer that shines the spotlight on the critters from the Kalos Region, all of which, by the way, are collectible no matter where you live during a special event being held this week. During the Season of Celebration, players will find over a dozen new Pokemon to collect as well as special Field Research and Timed Research things to complete. Certain Pokemon from Pokemon X/Y will also have an additional spawn rate so the time is golden to collect them all.
Pokémon originally discovered in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Alola, and Galar have all been seen in Pokémon GO so far. But on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, you’ll also begin to see Pokémon originally discovered in Kalos, the region where Mega Evolution was first discovered!
Players will now be able to collect Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Bunnelby, Fletchling, Litleo, and Noibat. Klefki will be coming to France exclusively. All of these creatures will continue to be found in the wild once the event ends. Litleo andEspurr will be present in 1-star Raids as well.
The Kalos Celebration is currently ongoing in the game and will last through December 8th with more events coming throughout December.
