GungHo Online Entertainment has announced a new Mickey Mouse mobile game, Disney Pixel RPG.
The team behind Ninjala has announced a new RPG that takes your favorite Disney characters and crams them into a retro RPG that’s ripe for on the go adventure. Coming to iOS and Android devices, Disney Pixel RPG transforms familiar Disney faces into gorgeous, pixelated characters and sets them on an epic adventure later in 2024.
The likes of Mickey, Maleficent, Genies, Baymax and Ariel are just some of the heroes that players can join across a range of game worlds. Each encounter brings its own diverse cast of challenges, from rhythm games to a dice roll. Players picking their own avatar will need to help the crew complete missions and battle past enemies to prevent their home worlds from falling apart.
While the animation for this upcoming tale is undeniably cute, we’ve yet to see how casual the retro themed RPG is. However, with Kingdom Hearts doing some serious numbers, Disney themed RPGs aren’t likely to do badly any time soon.
