The merc in red has a pert new Deadpool Xbox Controller that takes Xbox apparel to a whole new level of odd.
Xbox has a sweepstake going and the prize is the offspring of a movie franchise that goes hard and the twisted marketing minds at Xbox. After fridges, onesies, cookies, a Wonka bar, and fragranced collaborations, Xbox have teamed up with the Deadpool & Wolverine release to give away a Deadpool branded Xbox and controller set.
While the skinned Xbox doesn’t look like it’s much more than a special bit of art, the controllers are a whole different pair. The two standard Xbox handhelds have been remoulded and adorned to look like the posterior of the iconic star of the latest marvel movie. Winners will feel the plump curves of these creations between their fingers as they pull the trigger and look good doing it. Ok, it’s Deadpool’s butt on the back of a controller.
While I’m supposed to be spending my afternoon looking for awsome Prime Day deals this can’t be bought. To get one you’ll have to head over to the official Xbox twitter account and click the buttons to put yourself in with a shot. Rules are available on the Xbox website too.
If you missed the news, this collaboration is all to promote the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Following up from the previous couple of Deadpool films, this crossover of its own brings Hugh jackman back to the big screen as a version of the comic book Wolverine.
