Chill Mobile Games to Play If You Want to De-Stress Your Mind

Chill Mobile Games to Play If You Want to De-Stress Your Mind

There are a lot of mobile games that we can play out there – simulation, battle royale, roleplaying, and so many more. If you’re competitive like me, you’re probably used to playing games that are full of action. And if we’re talking about competition, that only means you get stressed out most of the time if the game doesn’t go your way – because trust me, I play for fun, but competition can get the best of me, and that stresses me out completely. Since stress isn’t good for our body and mind, I looked for games that de-stress your mind.

I had to install and uninstall a lot of games just to figure out which games really had a de-stressing and relaxing effect. I’m happy to share with you some of my great finds. Some of them are online games, so you will need to have high-speed internet like Boost Infinite and others. And some of them are paid, too, just a heads up. Let’s start!

1.    Sally’s Spa

Sally's Spa

If you want to take a trip down memory lane, Sally’s Spa is one of the games you can play. The objective of the game is to cater to your spa’s guests and make sure they get the treatment or service they want to avail at a specific time. They get upset if they wait too long, so you need to make sure you serve them on time. There are also different guest personalities that you need to consider.

There are two versions of this game, the free and the paid version. The free version requires you to have a fast internet connection and is ad-supported. That means you’ll need to have a capable internet. Otherwise, you’ll get disconnected. The paid version, on the other hand, can be played offline and it’s ad-free. And if you’re planning to upgrade your home internet, you can look into plans offered by reputable internet providers like Hughesnet deals, so even if you don’t avail of the paid version, you can still enjoy the free version of the game.

2.    Unpacking

Unpacking

Unpacking is a game that, well, allows you to unpack different items into your room. You’re actually unpacking boxes through the different stages of a person’s life. So that’s from you were a teenager to the time you move out and so on. I haven’t finished the game, but playing this is actually therapeutic. It allows you to decorate your home as you unpack, and I believe it says a lot about you as an individual and how you grew up. It’s a paid game, but it’s a great game.

3.    Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is a paid game as well, but I recently wrote a review for this game as well. To give you an idea, the game is about you running a farm you inherited from your grandfather. You can plant trees, fruits, and vegetables and sell them. You can also take care of animals like chickens, cows, horses, and goats. In return, they give you eggs, milk, wool, etc. Outside your farm, you can go mining, fishing, and foraging. You will also need to build relationships with other residents of your town. There will be quests available along the way as you progress. It’s an offline game, so you can play this anytime, anywhere.

4.    Supermarket Manager Simulator

Supermarket Manager

You’d be lying if you said that you never thought about becoming a cashier or managing an entire supermarket – just like what we see in movies and TV shows on streaming services. Well, this game gives you just that. You’ll be playing as a supermarket manager where you order stocks, restock the shelves by yourself, and be the cashier. You’ll be able to expand your supermarket as you progress, and you can also hire manpower to help you operate the business.

5.    Papa’s Games

Papa's Games

The last game I’d recommend is the Papa’s Games franchise. There are a lot of games in this franchise – Cluckeria, Mocharia, Cupcakeria, Wingeria, Pancakeria, Scooperia, Donuteria, and so much more. What you’ll do is prepare and serve food to customers, eventually unlocking different recipes and characters as you progress. It’s a relaxing and satisfying game, especially if you love cooking. It’s a very simple game that you can play offline.

Final Thoughts

Playing games to relax and de-stress should be the new norm. While most mobile gamers play to compete, there are also people like us who turn to games to escape from the stresses of life, and that’s completely fine. It’s just a matter of finding the right game for your preferences. Well, this wraps up my list. I’ll be updating this as soon as possible, but I hope you get to enjoy these games as much as I did.
