Choose Your Adventure With New Desperados III Interactive Trailer

Desperados III, the imminent new western adventure from THQ Nordic just dropped a new interactive trailer and this one is all about personal choice.

Following on from recent introductions to the gunslingers that players will play in the newest Desperados game, THQ Nordic has unveiled a different kind of teaser. The chose your own adventure style intro is clearly meant to remind players that Desperados III is all about choice. Rather than shoot first and ask questions later, this upcoming strategy set in the wild west is set to challenge players to think first and understand the choices that they make has definite consequences, and this trailer seems to have them too.

Decisions

Choose to go loud or quiet through this 45 second interactive trailer and the results are likely going to be very different here. This is an unusual approach to a trailer but it’s not quite Bandersnatch. Desperados III allows a player to master a situation how they like, rather than change the overall story. Faced with a set of guards, this slice of western life shows players how they can choose to overcome these problems by sneaking around their opponents of just simply overpowering them head-on. Just, don’t be surprised if the result of a head-on assault is even more guards during this Desperados III interactive trailer.

Desperados III is the latest in the strategy classic line up. This story of the old west puts players back in the shoes of John Cooper and teams up with the runaway bride Kate, the shady hitman Doc McCoy, the giant trapper Hector, and Isabelle, a mysterious lady from New Orleans. As the follow up to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive it looks set to give gamers a gritty stealth experience that lives up to the Desperados name. Desperados III is due to head out onto the prairie on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. You can grab the demo right now over on GoG.
