The first three Tomb Raider titles are being remastered and making their way to Steam, thanks to Realtech VR. This was confirmed by an exchange on Twitter that happened on March 1st.
While the IP is owned by Square-Enix, Realtech VR has been in charge of porting Tomb Raider 1 and 2 to mobile platforms. The remastered versions games will feature a new 3D engine for all 3 games, will have controller support, and will support OpenVR.
If you had previously purchased a DOS version of the original games, these remastered will be available to you for free. However, it seems as if the remasters will require the DOS version.
Realtech VR is anticipating a trailer lease in April with more details on the development to follow.
