Facebook has been hard at work reinvigorating its Instant Games Platform. A recent layout change in May moved the social media giant’s Instant Games front and center in the Messenger app and now Yahtzee joins the line-up of classics to play with friends. We recently received the following update about Instant Games.
Titles like PAC-MAN, UNO, and YAHTZEE are timeless, and it now takes less time than ever to jump into a game and settle the score with your friends thanks to their arrival on Facebook Instant Games.
Gone are the days of needing to clear off your friend’s dining room table, or meet up at the local arcade for the final showdown of a gaming rivalry. Now, whether you’re on your laptop, desktop, or mobile device, you can instantly start a game at the touch of a button, straight from a Facebook Messenger chat.
Here are just a few of the iconic arcade and tabletop IPs available now on Facebook Instant Games, and let me know if you have any questions:
- YAHTZEE With Buddies
It’s never been easier to roll into a match of dice-driven drama with your favorite frienemy, as YAHTZEE With Buddies lets you instantly go from trash-talking to awkwardly screaming YAHTZEE! In public. YAHTZEE With Buddies is one of the newest games to become available on Facebook, officially launching earlier this week.
- PAC-MAN Instant Games
Players can challenge up to 256 a-maze-ing stages in the Facebook version of the legendary arcade title, competing with their friends for the #1 spot on a competitive rankings leaderboard. Since its initial release in 2016, PAC-MAN Instant Games has been played over 50 million times (sorry, ghosts!).
- UNO
Gamers from around the world can join in on UNO’s classic card-drawing fun with all-new modes and features designed for Facebook, such as Quick Play, Two-vs.-Two Mode and Room Mode, along with unique emojis, custom backgrounds, and personalized rule sets. UNO attracted over one million new users within 72 hours of launch on Facebook.
Got a bulging friends list but sick of sharing dank memes and cat videos? Maybe it’s time to get game night on? You can find out more about Facebook’s Instant Games over on, yep, Facebook.
