Activision Blizzard is working hard to drum up excitement for its upcoming CoD: Black Ops Cold War reveal on Wednesday, August 26th. The company has sent out an email to remind fans about the date. The email also reveals a few details for longtime fans of the series.
First off the bat, Cold War will be a BattleNet exclusive for the PC version of the game. This is nothing new for PC players as Modern Warfare is also exclusive to BattleNet and it is likely that any further iterations on the long-running series will also be found there as well.
In addition, the email shows that Beenox is heading up the development of the PC version of the game while Raven Software and Treyarch are leading the console versions.
