Bandai Namco’s new action-RPG Code Vein, has a release date of September 28, 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is placed into a post-apocalyptic dystopian world where the protagonists use vampiric powers to gain more power. Dark Souls is the inspiration for this new release.
Along with the release date, they have also announced collector’s edition of the game as well. This edition of Code Vein will come with a 17cm figurine of the main character named Mia Karnstein. The figurine isn’t the only thing you can get though, it also comes with the game’s soundtrack, a digital art book and some cosmetics for your character.
If you opt to pre-order Code Vein then you will also receive crossover weapons from the God Eater series, another Bandai Namco title. The first weapon is an exclusive blood veil known as the Venous Claw and you will get extra blood codes and accessories too.
Bandai Namco recently confirmed that Code Vein will feature multiplayer, allowing players to “send a request in an area that you need help in”.
The publisher also announced that it will “aggressively” create original IP, so be on the lookout for more new worlds much like Code Vein in the future.
