The Company of Heroes 3 team is back with the latest in a series of discussions about a variety of game features. This time, Relic Entertainment developers showcase campaign missions and how players will be able to utilize some new game features including the Dynamic Campaign Map and Full Tactical Pause to make their gameplay more “heart-pounding” and strategic than ever before.
The new Dynamic Campaign Map offers ‘sandbox-style’ gameplay, allowing players to command the overall war effort and experience a unique level of strategic choice. Mission Designer David Milne explains in the video that Relic designed the missions in a way that challenges players, but that a mission can always be completed – no matter which factions, companies, or units they’ve selected. The developers reveal in the video that players will experience epic historical battles set in famous locations, while also discovering the smaller untold stories of World War II.
