Funcom has announced that Conan Chop Chop will finally be arriving on March 1, 2022. After what seems like an eternity of waiting, players will be able to check out the game for PC via Steam as well as on Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. To show off the madhouse action, devs released the Multiplayer Mayhem trailer. The best part is that the waiting is mitigated with a brand new demo also that will become available for PC with the Steam Next Fest event slated for February 21st. Switch gamers will also be able to access the demo that same day.
With its hilarious take on Conan the Barbarian’s world, Conan Chop Chop puts players into the leathery sandals of some of Hyboria’s greatest heroes as they battle to stop the treacherous wizard Thoth-Amon, evil incarnate and not a very nice guy. Cleverly positioned as a rogue-lite party game, with special emphasis on a party, players get to throw themselves head-first into a 1-4 player multiplayer mayhem in both online and couch co-op. It has magically created maps, trillion of item combinations to loot, and an eclectic cast of curious critters ranging from self-replicating chickens to icky brain-spiders.
You may remember that a small version of Conan Chop Chop was originally tossed out to the world as an April Fool’s joke but later became a phenomenon all its own leading up to its development as a full-blown multi-platform game.
