Riot shared a new animated trailer for the upcoming 2D platformer Convergence: A League of Legends Story. Titled Space and Time, it serves as an anthem for the new adventures of Ekko that will take him all over Zaun. The game is coming May 23, 2023 to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, Steam, and Epic Games.
“Developed by Double Stallion Games, CONVERGENCE: A League Of Legends Story is a story-driven, single-player 2D action platformer. Traverse the sprawling city of Zaun as Ekko with his ability to travel through space and time. He and his friends must work together to keep their city safe, but as danger looms and secrets come to light, Ekko realizes he can’t trust anyone—not even himself.”
Quite a few other characters from Piltover and Zaun made their appearances in the trailer such as Warwick, Camille, and Jinx. Check out the official site to find out more.
In addition to the mainstream League of Legends and Wild Rift, Riot Games released a number of projects set in the universe of Runeterra: animated series Arcane, CCG Legends of Runeterra, turn-based RPG Ruin King, rhythm-runner Hextech Mayhem and now The Mageseeker, a 2D pixel aRPG.
However, that is not all. Players still have a number of projects awaiting them in the future, including Convergence:
- Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story, a heartwarming single-player adventure game from Tequila Works will be available Fall 2023.
- Project L – an upcoming fighter game from Riot, featuring many familiar characters. Release date unknown.
