BTS are set to take to the small screen with a newly announced appearance on mobile game Cookie Run: Kingdom.
Global mega group band BTS is due to star in a brand new Cookie run event, titled Braver Together. The news that this septet is due to strike up some excitement dropped late last night with the new collaboration set to start on 13 October 2022 across iOS and Android planforms.
The Braver Together mantra is designed specifically for this upcoming in game event and combines the core values of each brand, according to publisher Devsisters. When it arrives, each member of. BTS will appear as their own unique Cookie. Players will arrive in a specially crafted BTS-themed maps with all new game lore explicitly created for this update. Aside from the wealth of in game activities dotted across this map, fans will likely want to pen in some time for the in-game BTS concert performed by the BTS’ Cookies. We. Don’t have the exact date and time for this yet, but it’s likely to be near the end of the ongoing event and will look very different to the sorts of gaming concerts that HoYoverse has been busy putting on.
Until then, Devsisters has confirmed that players will be able to get a sneak peek at the seven transformed BTS members (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook), including seven photo cards and 14 videos across Cookie Run social media. These teasers are due to drop between the 23-30 September. While the Cookie Run: Kingdom event might not be much consolation for international fans still sore at the recent Yet to Come ticketing debacle, this free to play RPG is sure to set the stage for a very different type of gig.
