Cris Tales Gets Release Date, New Demo, and A Trailer

Cris Tales, the time-twisting RPG from Modus Games, is set to arrive on 17 November 2020.

Modus Games has released a bunch of new information on the upcoming time travelling RPG Cris Tales since the PC Gaming Show took to the air. During PC Gaming Show, the release date for this anticipated RPG was revealed to be the 17 November. That means gamers across Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Stadia will be able to play this utterly gorgeous love letter to classic JRPGs later in the year on almost every platform available.

The release date was accompanied by other additions too. Fans of JRPGs that haven’t seen much of Cris Tales can gert as better glimpse of the title in a brand new cinematic teaser. Ok, it isn’t likely to give you much gameplay but it should prepare gamers to take the role of Crisbell, a newly awakened time mage who must embark across Crystallis and the four Kingdoms in a bid to stop the powerful Time Empress. With the power to peer into the mists of time, take action in the present, and watch the impact play out in the future, it’s a very different type of JRPG experience that we were charmed by when we first tried it. We can’t wait to fight evil minion, engage in some turn-based battles, and meet the citizens of this world when Cris Tales arrives.

Finally, players can get in on the action a little early with a new and updated demo for Cris Tales. Just in time for the Steam Games Festival, the latest update to Cris tales brings a new, mini Colosseum experience! Willhelm joins your party for eight progressively harder battles where you’ll face new foes and test your mettle in a mini-boss fight. This demo is available over on the official Cris Tales Steam Store page, where you can also find out more about the game right now.
