Wayfinder, the vibrant co-op ARPG just turned on crossplay in patch 0.6.1.
Fresh off announcing a stunning Critical Role collaboration and a bunch of quality updates, Airship Syndicate has turned on crossplay for Wayfinder. The world of Evenor opened its online adventure to players across PlayStation and PC platforms to team up and take on the Gloom just last night. Now it’s just time to find a dungeon and work out which DualSense button to push.
Joining your friends on console of PC should not be particularly difficult, no matter which hero you choose to wield. Players can head into a public game can get their invite code by opening up the Find Party menu and viewing the code at the top right of the screen. Join using the same code and prepare to swing a sword.
The new patch isn’t just about crossplay. Players can expect a range of co-op party fixes, from party bugs, crashes, Discord invite issues, and more. The full list is available over on the Wayfinder website.
This path is probably the biggest functional change since the Wayfinder: Echoes update landed on PlayStation 5. After the obvious interruption caused by the Digital Extremes break up, Wayfinder arrived back on PlayStation store with a huge overhaul in September 2024. Originally launched as an MMORPG and now continuing the adventure as a co-op dungeon crawler, this bright battle against an encroaching evil puts player in the shoes of resurrected heroes who must venture out into the world of Evenor and save it one more time. Anybody who took a pause during the PlayStation pause will find a bunch of bug fixes, new progression, play systems, loot, quests, and party systems available now. Check out what is on offer in Wayfinder: Echoes and patch 0.6.1 now.
