A Cult of the Lamb comic book will bring together secret rituals and cute paper cuts in 2025.
Not content with the recent pilgrim focused update, Devolver Digital’s Cult of the Lamb is set to swap the controller for the hardback when a Cult of the Lamb comic book comes to stores during February 2025. Set in the popular world of the aforementioned video game, the upcoming comic book will cost players around $30 and follow a new tale in this treacherous but adorable universe.
Acclaimed artist Carles Dalmau will take the cartoon carnage of this roguelike colony sim and bring it to both the paperback and deluxe hardback editions of the outing. The game’s chief writer, JoJo Zhou, is set to pen the narrative, following the fates of two pilgrims. Readers will follow Jalala and Rinor, two pilgrims searching this dangerous land for a place to call home. Along the way they encounter cultists looking for new sacrifices, and terror ensues. Cartoon terror, but still. Terrifying creatures hunting for a tasty pilgrim snack, beasts, and weird mushroom peddlers all cross their path too. This sounds a lot like the recent in game update, but there are some extra physical goodies for fans grabbing the new comic book.
Cult of the Lamb: Pilgrim is available to buy now at merch.devolverdigital.com. While it might be a while before it arrive on doorsteps, that’s plenty of time to finish the Archimedes Engine then bag some bonuses. The paperback edition contains the whole Pilgrim story, a note from the creators and bonus pages Jalala’s Journal to enjoy. The hardback deluxe edition adds an additional gorgeous, foiled hardcover with dust jacket, a note from the creators, a double-sided poster, postcards, and sticker sheet all designed by artist Carles Dalmau. Fans of the cute but deadly will likely love this.
