It appears that CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will get free DLC after launching on 19 November 2020.
In yet another piece of news straight out of Twitter today, the social media team at CD Projekt Red have confirmed something we fully suspected for some time. While we were away winding down for the weekend, the CD Projekt Red Twitter responded to a quickfire question about potential DLC updates form the upcoming RPG and it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 will follow in the footsteps fo the Witcher 3 and provide free DLC post-launch.

You can check out the Twitter thread above, and while this is far from the kind of official press release we’ve been used to in previous years, this isn’t exactly normal a normal time. The Kool-Aid themed confirmation means we can expect extra content for the dystopian future sim but that doesn’t mean there won’t be paid add ons. While The Witcher 3 got a bunch of free DLC, you can check out the full list over tat the official Witcher 3 website, it also featured paid expansions.
We don’t know exactly what the plans are for Cyberpunk 2077 in relation to expansions and if that information turns up on the net we will let you know here. For now.
