Gameloft has announced the release of two significant updates for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Dapper Delights is a free update for all players that introduces The Frog Prince’s Tiana into the game. In addition, the final act of “A Rift in Time,” the game’s first paid expansion, has launched. Let’s take a peek at each.
Dapper Delights
Tiana comes into DDV, and she’s ready to showcase some mad cooking abilities. However, her cookbook has been lost, and she’ll work closely with Remy to find it. Once it’s found, she can come to live in the Valley with new quests, friendship rewards, and more. She’ll also open up her restaurant, Tiana’s Palace, which will offer residents flavorful recipes to share with all Villagers.
The latest Star Path has also made its debut. It brings with it 1920s fashions including flapper fashions, art nouveau furniture, and even a dapper look for Donald Duck. Scrooge McDuck’s Store has also been updated with Tiana-themed items.
The new bundle to check out with some very “princess-y” looks that include new hairstyles, royal fashions, and house themes as well.
Lastly, PlayStation crossplay is now a thing. Players can game together in multiplayer mode regardless of what platform they’re on.
Treasures of Time
The “A Rift in Time” expansion comes to a close with the release of Treasures of Time. Jafar will finally be brought to justice as players race against time to turn back the effects of his schemes. Once the expansion ends, players who have purchased and played through the expansion will gain Jafar as a companion in the Valley.
