Dark and Light Will Receive a Large Construction Update

The developers of MMO Survival Dark and Light have released a new large update for the game that changed the list of crafting schemas (blueprints) in the Construction Knowledge tree and merged or removed a number of redundant assests in the ongoing optimization efforts. The game will also receive a large Construction update

Currently, the overlook of the update is in Russian only. The patch will add goblin catapults with engineering abilities, more crafting possibilities as well as new schemas. Players can also look forward to the update of the architectural style – stone, wood and straw.

  • The straw buildings are the first houses for the adventurers in the world of Dark and Light. It is relatively easy to build, has a low durability and doesn’t require all too much resources. After the release of the patch, 9 of the straw details will have a different design.
  • The wooden buildings are much more durable than straw ones, but require more materials for its construction. 28 parts of the wooden house will have an updated design.
  • The stone buildings are sturdy enough to resist most attacks from outside and keep the players safe. It requires a lot of crafting materials and time to complete. 23 elements of stone blueprints will have new design.

The position of windows has been changed to be set around the players’ characters’ face to provide a better overview of what is going on outside. The patch will also add a new mechanic of vertical gates that will offer a site for monitoring enemies’ activities. The flat roof and and the wall for shooting range will be deleted.
