Wily dataminers have taken to the Marvel’s Avengers Reddit to reveal a number of heroes that will be coming to the game, presumably as DLC after the launch early next month. User “6plus4equals52” and others have dug into the game files from the recent beta weekends to find at least five heroes that will be added to the base roster and the possibility that several others will be coming along as well. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics had previously announced that Spider-Man would be available for the PlayStation version of the game and that Hawkeye would be making his debut after release. However, the companies had kept any other future additions close to the chest. That is, until the beta hit live status.

According to the two, new playable characters coming to MA include Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Kate Bishop, War Machine, and Peter Parker. Other character data found in the files include Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Falcon, Hulkbuster, Mar-Vell, Mockingbird, Quake, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Wasp, and Winter Soldier. When, or if, these characters arrive remains to be seen, but it certainly gives Marvel fans a lot to look forward to!
