Dauntless, the co-op monster-bashing adventure just unleashed its biggest update today. Stomping onto PC and consoles across the globe, the Awakening update adds a transformative turn for the adventure, a fearsome new Bemeiooth, 18 extra weapons, extra armor, and a new region that seems to be teetering on the edge of apocalypse.
If you’re ready to stare into the abyss then there’s a new launch trailer that’ll get you in the mood for fending off some huge claws and severing limbs while you read through the upcoming changes. New weapons system reworks mean that your hammer, gun, or sharp pointy thing might play differently from now on. Weapons will still share a basic move set and core combos, however each weapon now also has unique abilities and Talents. This also means earning and putting together weapons isn’t the same as you might remember it. But players long standing Slayers will find themselves with pa7ybakc for their previous crafting effort. You can find out how many Weapon tokens to expect in the official update. Armor progression and Cells get changes to lock in perks, while you might notice that lanterns are on the way out.
All of these combat changes are necessary for the entrance of the humungous Karkonos. The newest Behemoth is coming to Islands Events on the new Umbral Hunting Grounds: Twilight’s Domain.
