After sending out the invitations and publishing the wedding pictures, Bend Studio has shared the trailer dedicated to one of the most important events in the life of Days Gone protagonist. Deacon St. John visits the ruins of a small church in the tiny town of Marion Forks to remember the days long gone. Deacon has only a photo to remind him of the woman he loved and the man she had helped him become.
In a Days Gone storyline called “I Remember,” Deacon attempts to deal with his tragic past. Long before a global pandemic killed the world — turning the Pacific Northwest into a terrifying no-man’s land of Freakers, Marauders and those just struggling to survive — the Farewell Wilderness set the stage for an unlikely romance between an outlaw biker and an extraordinary young woman from Seattle.
Days Gone is coming April 26, 2019, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
MORE ABOUT THE GAME:
Days Gone is a Third Person Shooter / open world action game developed by SIE Bend Studio, famous for the Syphon Filter series. Players take on a role of a rebellious biker, Deacon St. John, who tries to survive in a post-apocalyptic world decimated by a global pandemic two years ago.
The developers promise to show what drives the survivors in this unwelcoming world they find themselves in: desperation, loss, madness, betrayal, friendship, brotherhood, regret, love – and hope.
Using the power of PlayStation 4 and Unreal Engine 4, Days Gone offers an incredibly realistic and detailed open-world experience. Vast and hostile environments can be fully explored on the back of Deacon’s drifter bike. Abandoned vehicles can be searched for useful items. Towns and buildings can be entered and searched – at great risk. All lighting is done in real time – eye adaption technology creates a real sense of dread when entering dark buildings; day and night have an impact on the experience; weather affects enemy behavior.
