Behaviour Interactive has announced that Dead By Daylight has been updated to bring the Hour of the Witch content into the game. Players will find a brand new original Survivor in Mikaela Reid as well as a number of new activities and improvements to enjoy along the way.
Mikaela Reid resides in the Entity’s Realm solo and is considered a “perfect treat for Survivor-centric players”. Mikaela is haunted by the death of her father and oddly found herself comforted by horror stories by both reading and writing them. Along the way, she has also picked up a fascination for witchcraft. After being invited to share her work, Mikaela found herself surrounded by a thick black Fog that hauled her off to Entity and has never been seen since.
Other components of Hour of the Witch include:
- the Open Mic Host “very rare” outfit for Mikaela
- “very rare” outfits for Hillbilly and Nea
- The Midnight Grove activity running from October 21st to November 4th where players can unlock exclusive charms and cosmetics and the Witching Hour outfit for Mikaela
- The Midnight Grove also offers other rewards such as themed hooks and generators, spooky load screens, and a creepy Halloween lobby
Devs are also offering a free play opportunity from October 21st to October 25th on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. Hour of the Witch is available for $4.99 in each platform’s respective shops.
