If it’s October, there’s one thing that gamers around the world know: Halloween events aplenty will happen! The Dead by Daylight team is no stranger to horrifying thrills and chills with the entire premise of their game. With the start of the month underway, Behaviour Interactive developers are ready to unleash the Hour of the Witch with the first-ever original standalone survivor joining the fray.
Mikaela Reid will be arriving in the Entity’s Realm solo and is considered a “perfect treat for Survivor-centric players”. Mikaela is haunted by the death of her father and oddly found herself comforted by horror stories by both reading and writing them. Along the way, she also picked up a fascination for witchcraft. After being invited to share her work, Mikaela found herself surrounded by a thick black Fog that hauled her off to Entity and has never been seen since.
“The Halloween season is a very exciting moment for our fans and us so, following the arrival of a bold Killer like Pinhead, we wanted to seize the occasion and treat our Survivor Mains to a new addition to their roster”, shared Dave Richard, Creative Director. “Mikaela Reid is a very intriguing character with a lot of depth. We feel like she will resonate a lot with our fanbase especially since she has, just like them, a marked interest in the horror universe.”
Hour of the Witch will be available this month for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Windows Store, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
