Today’s news that Dead By Daylight will be heading to consoles should come as a welcomed surprise. The popular PC game is coming to both XBox One and PlayStation 4 on June 20th.
What makes Dead By Daylight so good?
To start with, this is a multiplayer horror “asymmetrical” game. One player takes on the role of a Killer while four others are Survivors. Game play obviously includes Survivors trying to…survive as well as the Killer trying to…kill. SURPRISE!
The key is whether or not the Survivors are willing to work together to keep breathing. Add in the spiciness of random maps every time the game is entered, and it could be considered a recipe for disaster.
Killers, on the other hand, can play as just about any monster imaginable — Slasher? Sure! Paranormal entity? Why not? Killers hunt, catch, and torture the Survivors as well as sacrifice them if the time is right.
Sounds fun….

- “unlockable” items that customize the way you play
- “Real people, real fear”
You’ll be able to get your hands on either a digital or physical edition that will come complete with all DLC as well as any other bonus content.
If that doesn’t send chills up your spine, nothing will. The bottom line is that console players will get to join in the fun later this summer.
